Cramer, a Chilean company with more than 80 years of experience in the fragrance and flavor industry, needed an effective solution to control industrial odors generated by its chimneys in Cerrillos and Malloco.
Despite the use of activated carbon and masking systems, persistent odors affected the environment and nearby communities.
Filtrovivo Solution
We designed a modular plant biofiltration system, installing Filtrovivo totems on critical chimneys.
Each totem is a vertical biofilter that combines a bioactive substrate, living vegetation, and an automated ventilation and irrigation system.
The microbiota present in the substrate naturally degrades odorous compounds without chemicals or invasive processes.
